Your experience starts with some practical instruction from trained staff who explain posture, grip, and balance. Participants must be able to swim or tread water before entering the activity zone. Life jackets are securely fitted to be comfortable and stable. A minimum of two riders is required to help the inflatable donut to maintain a smooth movement as it travels across the water.

Over a longer duration, the Donut Ride develops rhythm as the towing boat changes the speed during the session. At times, you will feel a light gliding across the surface. Moments later, controlled turns bring bursts of excitement that lift the donut raft to lift a bit before it settles back into balance. As you arrive at West Bay Lounge 10 to 15 minutes before the experience begins, complete the registration procedures. Next, your experienced instructor will walk you through important safety measures and riding techniques to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience. Once ready, take to the inflatable for an action-and-fun-packed session on Abu Dhabi’s water. As the towing boat picks up speed, you’ll be pulled across the waves for 30 minutes, with refreshing splashes and plenty of laughter.
