Guests must carry their original passport or valid photo identification. Tickets are issued for a specific date and entry time. The name provided during booking must match the guest’s identification document. Large bags, luggage and parcels exceeding 40 × 40 centimetres are not permitted inside the museum galleries. Children must remain accompanied by an adult. Any required add-ons, including private transportation, meals, additional attractions or extended guiding services, must be requested in advance. All requested add-ons are subject to availability and additional charges. Museum operating hours, gallery access and the tour itinerary may change due to official instructions or special events.

Visit the Main Galleries covering different periods and themes of ancient Egyptian history. Explore the Tutankhamun Galleries and view treasures associated with the young pharaoh. Visit Khufu’s Boats Museum. Enjoy free time for photography, refreshments or shopping in the museum’s commercial area. Return transfer to the guest’s hotel. The order of the itinerary may change according to visitor flow and museum instructions.

Free cancellation is available before the museum tickets are issued. Once admission tickets have been issued, their value is nonrefundable and will be deducted from any eligible refund. Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are nonrefundable. No refund will be provided for late arrivals, no-shows or unused services. If the tour is cancelled by the operator, guests will be offered an alternative date or an applicable refund.

Wear comfortable footwear, as the experience includes extended walking. Personal photography is generally permitted, except in designated restricted areas. Flash photography is not permitted. Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, drones and external lighting equipment are prohibited. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Small water bottles may be allowed in accordance with museum regulations. The museum complex operates until later on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Last gallery entry is one hour before closing.
